Intend to travel somewhere in the globe and have doubt if your devices will work?
Fear no more! Here a very light and condensed list to help you keep your devices safe when traveling to another country!
Plugs will be added soon.
Important Tips:
- Always check Voltage and Frequency specifications on your devices, both are extremely important and may damage your device or make it heat/work poorly if used incorrectly.
- Devices called Bi-Volt works with two different voltages, normally 127/220V, but check it’s ranges even in this case.
- If your device is “near” the expected voltage, don’t assume it will work. Check on fabric specs to ensure it has or nor a range to work with.
e.g.: If it says: 220V±5%, that means the device can work with a variation of 5% to +(more) or -(less), in this particular example: 209V-231V (Bringing it to real numbers, your device would work perfectly fine from 210V-230V) - Even the country standing a “standard” there are rare situations where the hotel/house/commercial/industry you are in may have their own source of energy demanding you to understand what are that plug specifications before proceeding it.
- Some hotels or companies may have different energy plugs with different Voltage/Frequency due to some special need of them or their clients. Always ask this information before plug your devices.
